About Blackstone

Three Generations. One Obsession.

My grandfather built his first house in 1952 with hand tools and horse sense. My father carried it forward through the 70s and 80s. I started Blackstone in 1998 to bring that same standard — real tradesmen, honest timelines, work you can see up close — to a new generation of Denver homeowners who've been burned by contractors that cut corners.

We hire W-2 craftsmen, not subs. We keep our crew small on purpose. And we turn down about a third of the projects we're offered — because we'd rather do a few homes exceptionally than a dozen adequately.

Before You Sign.

Yes. Blackstone Build Co. is fully licensed (CSL#142839), insured, and bonded in Colorado. We carry $3M in general liability and full workers' comp coverage on every job. Certificates available on request.

Design-build means we handle design and construction under one contract with one accountable team. You get a single point of contact, one budget, one schedule, and no finger-pointing between architects and contractors.

Most whole-home remodels run 14 to 24 weeks on-site, after a 4 to 8 week design phase. We give you a firm schedule before breaking ground and stick to it.

Yes. We have deep experience with historic homes in neighborhoods like Congress Park, Washington Park, and City Park West. We preserve original character while bringing systems up to modern standards.

We serve the full Denver metro and Front Range — Denver, Boulder, Highlands Ranch, Castle Rock, Lakewood, and Littleton. If you're outside these areas, reach out — we occasionally take on projects further out for the right fit.
