Every testimonial below reflects an actual client outcome — with the starting and ending score documented. Names shortened for privacy.
"I'd been turned down for a mortgage twice. The Ashcroft team audited my report in a week and found six items that shouldn't have been there. Eight months later I closed on my first home."
"I thought credit repair was a scam until a friend referred me. Every month I got a written update with what they filed and what came back. Eleven months in, my score unlocked the business loan I needed."
"My divorce left my credit a mess. Ashcroft walked me through every step, coordinated with my attorney, and rebuilt my profile without any of the pressure I'd felt from other firms."
Before starting Ashcroft, Isabella spent nine years underwriting mortgages in Atlanta. Over and over, she watched qualified buyers — nurses, small-business owners, single parents rebuilding after a divorce — get denied over reporting errors they didn't even know were on their reports.
Ashcroft opened in 2012 with one rule: every dispute is grounded in federal law, every client gets the same process regardless of score, and no one pays for work that hasn't been done. Twelve years and 25,000+ clients later, that rule hasn't changed.
We serve clients across the Atlanta metro in-person and nationwide via our secure client portal. Local in-office consultations available by appointment.
The Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA) is a federal law that regulates how credit repair services operate. It requires firms to give consumers clear contracts, a 3-day cancellation right, and prohibits charging fees before services are performed. Ashcroft is fully CROA-compliant and registered under Georgia's Fair Business Practices Act.
No credible credit repair firm can guarantee specific score outcomes — and federal law prohibits such promises. What we can do is identify inaccurate, outdated, or unverifiable items on your report and dispute them through the proper legal channels. Our average client gains 89 points over 12 months, but individual results always vary.
Most clients see meaningful progress within 3 to 6 months, with full program results over 9 to 18 months. Timelines depend on the complexity of your report, the accuracy of disputed items, and how responsive creditors and bureaus are.
Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (§611), any item that is inaccurate, outdated, incomplete, unverifiable, or misleading can be disputed. This includes late payments, collections, charge-offs, bankruptcies, and inquiries that don't belong to you or cannot be verified by the furnisher within 30 days.
Yes. You have the legal right to dispute inaccurate items on your credit report yourself at no cost, directly with the credit bureaus. We're transparent about that right upfront — it's required under CROA. Our clients hire us for the systematic process, legal framework, and direct relationships with creditors that move disputes faster than a DIY approach typically can.
No. The dispute process itself does not lower your credit score. If a disputed item is verified by the furnisher and stays on your report, there is no score impact. If it's removed, your score typically improves. This is a common misconception we clear up in every consultation.
Under the FCRA, a creditor who re-inserts a previously removed item must notify you within 5 business days. We monitor your reports continuously and re-dispute any improperly re-inserted items at no additional cost during your program.
Every engagement starts the same way — a no-pressure consultation where we pull your tri-merge report, identify what's disputable, and tell you honestly whether we can help.
